Three days in, and I already want to kill myself.
I cannot begin to tell you how sore I was today - even more so than yesterday. My legs burned going down the stairs. My chest burned while bracing myself to stand up. Furthermore, my stomach is constantly feeling upset because of all the food that I am putting into it.
Needless to say, my body is still adjusting to this program.
Today, I took it a bit easier - I ate less, because my body was not responding well to the diet. I also rested more. I was very, very tempted to skip today's workout and save it for tomorrow, but I decided to tough it out. I am glad that I did so, although my body was screaming throughout. I was unable to finish my sets, but I did the workout. I felt very lightheaded afterward, and my body shook incredibly. But... but, I did the workout.
My legs feel as though they will give out... I almost fell at one point during the exercise. However, my recovery time was significantly greater than on Monday, and hopefully I will continue to progress.
This is not fun, but hopefully it will become more enjoyable as my body adjusts and I start to see results.
